It has good coverage.It does make it like a little furnace under there with you, your baby and the cover.We were both sweating by the time my baby was done eating!I did see some nursing covers that had a little metal bar at the top so you could look down on your baby.This one doesn't have that and it takes some positioning to get the fabric to lay open enough for you to see your baby. But overall, it works well, its affordable and for the price I couldn't ask for much more.The colors look just like the picture shows.The fabric is a little stiff and not too soft but that helps it stay open at the top so you can see your baby.
